disturbing....yet beautiful....i love the contrast....so jealous though...cuz you can shade....uuuhhh.....it seems like everyone can shade except me.....some ppl have tried to teach me.......but i end up just spacing out.....until they start yelling.......
Wow, this is quite the impressive doodle. Impressive indeed. I can't say I know much about art and such, so I'm sorry if my feedback isn't quite constructive, but I really like the idea behind this, and also, your drawing skills are very impressive. I'm loving the way you drew the woman. Well done!
I hope all is well, and it's nice to see you back on dA again.

thank you very much. i did the majority of it one night when i wasn't able to sleep, just because the idea came into my head and i wanted to get it down. it's nice to know that someone thinks my drawing skills are impressive. i tried to draw the woman as distorted yet grounded as i was feeling...does that make any sense?
things have been looking up. now that i've finished with my portfolio for class, i can start bringing pieces home from school to scan [or take pictures of] and submit. of course, the quality of the work isn't anywhere near what i'd like to to be, but i was rushed so...*shrug* hopefully you'll like some of it.
i'd like to see some more work from your side of the wires as well.
Oh yes, it makes sense. I've had the same feeling before, and it sucks. And hey, procrastination is the necessity of greatness! I'm sure it's all good stuff.
And I'm honoured that you still read my work, but I've been plagued by exam revision lately, so should be able to get down to some writing in a few weeks. Then there's the matter of my brain being fried, and the fact that I find it almost impossible to form insanely simple sentences....aaah!
